The hotel is located in a charming village, within walking distance of all Grasmere has to offer. The rooms are spacious and characterful with unique artisanal touches. The service is exceptional, with the staff being very friendly and accommodating. The dining experience offers delicious options, although it is off-site. The facilities are convenient and well-kept, providing a cozy atmosphere overall.
I had a wonderful stay at Treetops. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and I wouldn't hesitate to return. I've already recommended it to others. The service was friendly and very helpful, and the location was great, surrounded by mountains and the lake. The dining experience was delicious, especially the homemade muesli. A few downsides were the Sicilian pastries and the dining at the Good Sport not being up to par.
My stay at Lake View Country House was delightful. The rooms had great views from three windows and a lovely bathroom, but had restricted headroom for clothes. The large fenced rooftop area was perfect for enjoying the sun while my dog played safely. The service was attentive, and guests received a 10% discount at the 'The Good Sport Bar'. The location was ideal for exploring Grasmere with shops and attractions nearby. The dining experience was enjoyable with a unique 'badger cam'.
